Fall is a lovely time for family photos. There are many beautiful trails throughout Oakville and Burlington that are not too busy and make the perfect backdrop for your fall photography session. I often suggest choosing trails that are less well known and not big attractions for lots of foot traffic. It makes for a smoother session with less interruptions. The focus is then on creating natural moments of your family interacting and children playing and exploring the setting.
I have had the privilege of photographing this family since mom was expecting her youngest. Seeing your family grow up throughout the years is truly a joy. The children are so sweet and their connection as a family really shows.
A tip for a successful session with young children is to not place too much pressure on them to smile for the camera. We just try to focus on engaging them, being silly, playing and exploring. Often they like to cuddle up and snuggle with their parents too so we can capture natural smiles and moments that way.
