Newborn Photography Oakville / Burlington
As a newborn photographer, my aim is to provide a stress-free portrait experience that results in beautiful, timeless images of your family with your new baby.
We offer three types of newborn sessions:
Bring your new bundle of joy to our bright and airy, home studio in northeast Burlington. We have everything we need for your session at the studio, all that you need to bring is a diaper bag. You will have access to our beautiful wardrobe for your whole family so that everyone looks great without the stress of coordinating outfits. We also have plenty of neutral blankets, swaddles and accessories for your baby.
I recommend planning to have your studio session when your baby is up to four weeks old. They tend to be sleepier during this time, easier to swaddle and pose in your arms, on our posing beanbag, and with siblings. A big pro of coming to the studio is that you don’t need to clean your house and you can just relax while everything is taken care of for you. The studio is easily accessible (right near the border of Burlington and Oakville) and has parking right at the door.

2. In-home Lifestyle Sessions
An in-home lifestyle session is an option if you want to capture baby’s first days in their home environment and you have a good amount of natural light streaming into your home from the windows. Neutral and light paint colours on the walls of the rooms in your home, is important to create the bright, airy and clean look that you see in my images.
We can capture your baby in their beautiful nursery, and your family adoring this new bundle you have welcomed. Think snuggles on the living room couch, or quiet moments with your baby near a beautiful window with lovely light.
These sessions can take place at any age with your baby, but typically if you would like to capture them in that phase when they are new (and sleepier), I recommend planning for a lifestyle session when your baby is under two months old.
Before your session, I will walk you through how to prepare your home and choose the best rooms to photograph your baby in. There will be a bit of de-cluttering and cleaning required on your part, so keep this in mind and plan to have someone help you, since you may be still recovering from your birth.
Your family will also have access to my studio wardrobe collection for your session, to make things easy for you. Your images will tell the story of your baby’s first moments at home, in a natural and candid style, using gentle direction and guidance.
3. Outdoor Newborn Sessions
Outdoor newborn sessions can be held between late April-October when temperatures allow. These sessions are focused on your family holding and adoring your baby, in a beautiful landscape such as a park, field or near the waterfront. I also bring one posed set up for your baby to capture them on their own. This could be a beautiful bowl or basket, with neutral blankets inside.
These sessions can take place at any age with your baby, but typically if you would like to capture them in the phase when they are new (and sleepier), I recommend planning for an outdoor newborn session when your baby is under two months old.
Outdoor sessions include access to the client wardrobe, and I am happy to help style your family and choose pieces that would work well depending on the outdoor setting that you choose.
